Canoe Safari Wilderness Edge

Tour A  One week. This tour will bring you into the narrow waterways of Värmland. In six days approx. 90 km will be paddled, far from civilization and worries. Crystal clear lakes invite to swimming and fishing. Nights are spent on secluded campsites, on island or on shore. Food is prepared over an open camp fire or on the included camping stoves.

The daily distances planned leave enough time for relaxation or your own excursions such as: walking, swimming, fishing, picking berries and mushrooms. With a little luck and nice wind, the canoes can be tied togehter and sailed with a makeshift sail.

This tour is ideal for beginners. Daily distances are short with many breaks, so that children, as well as adults, have time to explore the surroundings. Children pick up paddling very easy, and love to participate. Children under 6 years join free when sharing food and equipment with parents. The older children paddle along with the adults. Guests will learn how to navigate, using maps and compass, learn how to bake bread in primitive oven and add to the foodbox with what nature has to offer from fish, berries and mushroom. After a long day the evening campfire is a welcome relaxation and highlight.

All food provisions, canoe, paddles lifejackets, tent, waterproof luggage container, camping stove, water container, other shared equipment, guide (Swedish and English speaking), Nature Conservation Card fee and any other local fees, including lock fees.
